Explore the world heritage site of Halong Bay on our small, personally designed cruises for a Halong bay cruise day tour. THE TOUR
We will collect you from your hotel at 07.30 am, for the four hour drive through the Red River Delta, to Halong Bay. Stopping off along the way,to stretch the legs, and to enjoy the peaceful scenery, and study the local wildlife.
You will be welcomed at Halong Bay by your junk crew, and once you have cast off into the emerald waters of the bay, lunch will be served. While you enjoy your seafood lunch you can admire the stunning shapes, of the limestone mountains, as they rise from the water like dragons teeth.
After lunch we arrive at Vung Vieng fishing village, where we transfer to sampans for a cruise through river village life. Local fishermen will guide you through the village and introduce you to the locals, as well as stopping of at the local school and pearl farm. They will also teach you how to row a bamboo boat, that is, if you want to of course!
You will discover what it like for the locals living on the water and spend time with them learning how to fish local style.
We will slowly meander back through the bay, around the islands, to the harbour at Hon Gai for the transfer back to Hanoi. You will arrive back at your hotel around 10.00 pm after a truly relaxing day on the water with a wonderful Halong bay cruise day tour with David private tours
